ADC Announces Expanded 2025/26 Global Championship with Increased Prize Money and New TV Home

The Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC) is thrilled to unveil its ambitious plans for the 2025/26 ADC Global Championship. With an expanded field, an enhanced format, a significant increase in prize money, and a brand-new broadcast partner, this edition promises to be the most exciting yet.

Following the success of the inaugural event in 2024, which saw Devon Petersen claim the title at the MODUS Live Lounge in Portsmouth, the South African star will return as the defending champion in a newly expanded 56-player field.

Bigger Prize Pool, Bigger Stage

The prize fund for the 2025/26 Global Championship has been significantly boosted, with a total of £150,000 up for grabs. The winner will walk away with a guaranteed £60,000, making this one of the most lucrative amateur darts tournaments in history.

Adding to the excitement, every dart of the championship will be broadcast live and free on Pluto TV, giving fans worldwide the chance to witness the action while enjoying over 250+ free channels and thousands of on-demand movies and shows.

New Format for 2025/26

The tournament kicks off on Monday, December 1, 2025, with all 56 players competing in an exciting group-stage format:

Stage One: Eight groups of seven players each, with the top four from each group advancing to the knockout group stage.

Knockout Groups: Eight groups of four players, with only the winners progressing to the Grand Final.

Grand Final: The eight remaining players will battle for the prestigious title during the first week of January at the MODUS Live Lounge.

Each group stage will be completed in a single day, with Group One commencing on December 1 and the following groups playing on consecutive days.
